How I Review
I test the way your actual users will experience your site landmarks and navigation first, then heading structure, then every link and button, working through real tasks like sign-up, checkout, and search.
I test across Mac VoiceOver in Safari and Chrome, and Windows JAWS. If you have a mobile app, I also test with VoiceOver on iPhone.
When I report back, I break issues into three tiers: critical items that need immediate remediation, issues that can be handled short-term with a workaround, and lower-priority items worth addressing but not urgent right now.
Accessibility isn’t a one-time fix it’s a process, and that structure lets you tackle what matters most first instead of getting overwhelmed.
I don’t do a lot of paperwork either. Past clients haven’t needed NDAs or lengthy contracts to work with me they’ve told me they appreciated how little red tape was involved.
My reports are built for substance: finding what’s actually broken for screen reader users, not formatting for its own sake, though everything gets cleaned up before it reaches you.
